Questions teachers ask.
Q1.What do I need to start?+
Your ATP (Annual Teaching Plan) for your grade and subject, as a PDF or Word file. That is all. You can use our standard CAPS lesson plan format if your school does not have its own.
Q2.Which grades and subjects work?+
Any CAPS grade and subject that has an ATP. Teachers with more than one subject can upload an ATP for each.
Q3.My school has its own lesson plan format. Can I use it?+
Yes. Upload your school’s Word document once, and every lesson is filled into that format.
Q4.Does it work on my phone?+
Yes. Lesson Plan Gen is made for phones first. You can also use it on a laptop or tablet.
Q5.Can I change the lesson plan?+
Yes. Download it for Word and change anything you like before you print or hand it in.
Q6.How much does it cost?+
Your first 3 weekly plans are free once you confirm your email address. A weekly plan is all the lesson plans for one subject for one week. After that, you buy them in packs: 20 for R120, 50 for R250 or 150 for R600. You pay once. There is no monthly debit order, and your weekly plans never expire.
Q7.What is a weekly plan?+
A weekly plan is all the lesson plans for one subject for one week. Whether you teach it once or five times that week, it uses 1 weekly plan. If you teach 4 subjects, you use 4 weekly plans a week. Opening, saving and downloading your lessons is always free. If a lesson plan does not finish, it is not counted.
Q8.How can I pay?+
By card or Instant EFT on PayFast, or by bank transfer (EFT). For EFT, upload your proof of payment in the app or send it to us on WhatsApp, and we add your lessons as soon as the money arrives.
Q9.What if my ATP does not upload properly?+
Message us on WhatsApp. We look at your ATP and help you get it working.
